Adam Fonfé, Head Coach

Adam started playing tennis at the age of 7 in the UK, and after many years of competing and representing his county, he began assisting his local club coach. After graduating from the University of Sussex, Adam began coaching full-time at the Windmill Hill Tennis and Golf academy.

In 2009, Adam became the Head Coach at St. George’s College in Surrey where he oversaw a team of coaches, running a performance programme for one of the elite tennis schools in the country.

Adam left that role to emigrate to South Australia in 2014, where he found work at the local tennis club, McLaren Vale.

He has since set about building up the club’s membership by introducing a range of coaching and club-wide initiatives including: The club’s first Hot Shots programme; Cardio tennis; squad training; internal club tournaments; open tournaments for orange ball players; and an internal orange ball competition that was nominated for the 2022 SA Club Tournament of the Year award.

Adam brings over 25 years of coaching experience to his role and has been lucky enough to coach in the UK, USA, Spain and Portugal before settling in Australia. He currently holds the Tennis Australia Club Pro coaching accreditation is a UK LTA level 4 Performance coach and is USPTR certified.

Jack Pacitti, Assistant Coach

Involved with the ANZ Hot Shots program since 2019, Jack offers an affordable coaching option for junior players. Jack is currently undertaking a Junior Development Coaching Course.

A skilled tennis player in his own right, Jack currently plays Men’s Division 1 for Myponga.

He is in his third year studying a Bachelor of Education specialising in Physical Education, under Adam’s supervision Jack is keen to see younger players develop their skills and enjoy the game of tennis.
